Set Up Product Bundles

If you’re looking to create product bundles in your Shopify store, the Easify Product Options app has got you covered. However, setting up bundles can vary depending on your specific needs. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for common scenarios to help you set up your bundles with ease.

Case 1: Products in Bundles Not Sold Individually or Sold Individually at the Same Price as in the Bundle #

1. Watch & Bracelet Bundle: Allow customers to select a Bracelet as an optional add-on when purchasing a Watch. Note that the Bracelet can also be purchased separately at the same price.

Reference setup:

• Create separate products for Watch and Bracelet.
• Set up an option set, add your prefered option display type such as Checkbox to present the Bracelet option.
• Link the Bracelet product to the Checkbox option value.
• Add the option set to the Watch product.

2. Mix of Candies Bundle: Offer a customizable mix of candies where the price of the bundle is determined by the total price of selected candies.

Reference setup:

• Create a Mix product with a price of $0.00. You can hide this price on both the product and collection pages by adjusting your theme settings.
• Create individual candy products or a single candy product with multiple variants (different flavors).
• Create an option set with candy options, using your preferred display type (like Image Swatch)
• (Optional) Enable the Quantity selector feature to allow customers to select specific quantities for each candy option.
• Link the Image Swatch option values with the existing candy products.
• Add the option set to the Mix product.

Case 2: Products in Bundles Sold Individually, and the Bundle Price Differs from the Total of Individual Product Prices; or Merchants Prefer Not to Add up Individual Product Prices to the Bundle Price #

1. Bikini Set: The individual pieces (Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom) are available at specific prices, but the Bikini Set is sold at a lower combined price.

Notes: Directly using the existing Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom products as add-on products of the Bikini Set won’t work because their actual prices would add up to the Bikini Set price.

Reference solution and setup:

• Create the Bikini Set product and set any price you want.
• Duplicate the Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom products. These duplicates will mirror the original products in all details except price, which is set to $0.00.
• Create an option set, including options for selecting Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom. Link the option values with the duplicated Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom products (not the originals).
• Add the option set to the Bikini Set product.
• Hide the duplicated Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom products from website search using the seo.hidden metafield, and exclude them from all collections.

Importance: Ensure inventory sync between the original and duplicated Bikini Top & Bikini Bottom products for accurate tracking. Utilize the Easify Inventory Sync app to easily identify duplicated products with the same SKUs and effortlessly sync their inventory, ensuring seamless management.

2. Discounted Bracelet with Watch Bundle: Customers can buy a Watch with an optional Bracelet at a discounted price compared to buying the Bracelet individually.

Reference solution and setup:

• Create separate Watch & Bracelet products
• Duplicate the Bracelet products, maintaining all details but adjusting the price to the discounted rate.
• Create an option set, including the optional Bracelet option, for example, using a Checkbox option type.
• Link the duplicated Bracelet product with the Checkbox option value.
• Add the option set to the Watch product.
• Hide the duplicated Bracelet product from website search using the seo.hidden metafield, and exclude them from all collections.
