We understand.
Merchants have seen a familiar pattern on the Shopify App Store:

And sometimes the frustrating part isn’t even the pricing. It’s when nothing really improves. The app stays the same, it just gets a price tag.
So we want to be very clear about what’s happening with Easify Box Builder:
- We’re not switching from Free to Paid.
- We’re switching from Free to Freemium, and we’re using that change to ship a much stronger Easify.
From “build a box” to “sell more boxes”.
Starting February, 2026, Easify Box Builder will introduce new plans and pricing, plus powerful upgrades focused on:
- Sales Boosters for box bundles
- Advanced Box Analytics
- Conditional Logic for intelligent box flows
- Faster improvements and stronger reliability
- Better onboarding, customization and integration support

That’s the shift we’re building in the next Easify Box Builder.
1) Sales Boosters (made specifically for box bundles) #
Sales Boosters is a growing set of tools designed specifically for box flows. The goal is simple: remove hesitation at the exact moment shoppers are deciding.
Here are the first boosters rolling out:
Low Stock Counter
- Adds urgency where it matters.
- Example: a best-selling item inside the box shows “Only 6 left” while shoppers are choosing. That tiny nudge often turns “I’ll come back later” into “Checkout now”.
Sales Notifications
- Adds trust without shouting.
- Example: “Someone just built a Snack Box” reassures new shoppers that this box is popular and worth completing.
Countdown Timer
- Adds a clear deadline for seasonal boxes and limited-time offers.
- Example: “Offer ends in 02:15:20” gives shoppers a clear reason to checkout now.
And this is only the start. More boosters are coming, all built around one goal: help your box flow convert better, without making your storefront feel pushy.

2) Advanced Box Analytics (insights that tell you what to do next) #

See top boxes by box revenue and by boxes sold, so you know what to promote harder. - What revenue comes from boxes only (not the whole order)
Because an order can include extra items. We separate the box impact so you can measure boxes fairly. - Average Box Value vs Average Order Value
See whether boxes are lifting your overall order size, not just adding complexity. - AOV growth over time

For live stores
- Start with a 14-day free trial
- After the trial, you can stay on Start (Free) if your Monthly box revenue (MBR) is under $500
- When your MBR reaches $500 or greater, your store moves to a paid plan that fits your stage (Grow, Scale, or Thrive)
For development stores
- Free while you’re building and testing
- Once your store goes live, you’ll follow the same rule as live stores:
- stay Free while MBR is under $500
- move to a paid plan only when MBR reaches $500 or greater

Here’s the rule we believe in:
You shouldn’t pay before your boxes make money. #
That’s why the flow is built like this:
- try it first
- stay Free while you’re still testing and learning
- upgrade only when box revenue proves the channel is working
So the paid step isn’t a blind bet. It’s a reinvestment into something that’s already paying you back, with better tools to scale it.
Also, a quick reminder: Easify Box Builder has been Free since April 2025. That was intentional. We wanted merchants to be able to test in real stores without pressure before we ever introduced pricing.
The 4 plans: Start, Grow, Scale, Thrive #
Before the plans, there are 2 important things to know:
1) Trial first (14 days) #
Every live store starts with a 14-day free trial. This trial is separate from the Start (Free) plan.
During the trial:
- You can go live and make real sales.
- You can test everything.
- Trial revenue is not used for billing.
After the trial ends, your plan starts based on your Monthly Box Revenue (MBR).
2) What “Monthly Box Revenue (MBR)” means #
MBR = box revenue made by Easify Box Builder in your billing cycle after the trial ends.
Important clarifications:
- Box revenue only, not your store’s total revenue.
- If an order has box items + other items, we count only the box part.
- Trial revenue is not counted. MBR starts after the trial.
Now, the plans
Start (Free) #
MBR: under $500/month
Best for: getting your first steady box sales after trial
What you get:
- Stay Free as long as your post-trial MBR stays under $500
What does it mean?
- You make $499 from boxes, Easify costs $0. That’s pure upside while you grow.
Grow ($29/month) #
MBR: under $5,000/month
Best for: boxes are selling and you want to grow faster
Extra support:
- Box design customization support
Estimated Return On App Investment:
- If your boxes bring in $4,999 in a cycle, you pay $29 and keep $4,970.
- That is about 172x return (around 17,200% ROAI).
- Break-even is simple: you only need $29 extra box revenue to cover the plan.
Scale ($99/month) #
MBR: under $25,000/month
Best for: boxes are a serious channel and you want guided growth
Extra support:
- Priority onboarding + guided setup
Estimated Return On App Investment:
- If your boxes bring in $24,999 in a cycle, you pay $99 and keep $24,900.
- That is about 252x return (around 25,250% ROAI).
- Break-even: you only need $99 extra box revenue to cover the plan.
Thrive ($199/month) #
MBR: Unlimited revenue capacity so your cost doesn’t keep rising as you grow
Best for: high-volume stores that want predictable cost while scaling

Quick check today: open the app’s Analytics and look at your recent Monthly Box Revenue (MBR). This gives you a quick idea of whether you’ll likely stay on Start (Free) after the trial or land on Grow, Scale, or Thrive as your boxes grow.
When plans go live in February: please remember to open the app and start your 14-day free trial to unlock the new Sales Boosters, Advanced Box Analytics, and more.
You still get the full 14-day free trial, just like brand-new users: explore everything first before any plan starts.
Trial sales are yours, and they don’t affect billing: you can make real sales during the trial, but trial revenue won’t be counted toward paid MBR. When the trial ends, your MBR will reset to $0 and start counting from that point onward.
- If your post-trial MBR stays under $500/month, you simply continue on Start (Free).
- Only if your post-trial MBR reaches $500/month or higher, your store moves into Grow, Scale, or Thrive.
- And because you’re early: if you qualify for a paid plan later, you’ll get a 50% Founder’s Discount for 6 months. New users won’t have this.
