Easify Product Attachments (“the App”) provides merchants with tools to upload and attach files (PDFs, manuals, certificates, warranties, etc.) to products and other pages in their Shopify-powered stores (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:
- Shop information: store name, store URL, email address, plan type, and currency.
- Product information: product titles, variants, images, SKUs, pricing details — used to manage attachments and display file blocks on product/collection pages.
- Order information: order IDs, line items, and any attached file usage metadata — used to support customer service, fulfilment, and reporting.
- Theme and storefront data: to embed the App’s file-attachment blocks and display attachments on storefront pages.
- App and ScriptTag permissions: for installation, uninstallation, and proper App functioning.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:
- Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, email address, and billing information (for account management and support).
- Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about cookies installed on their device (for analytics and improving the attachment-file display experience).
- Information submitted through the attachment/upload experience, such as uploaded files (e.g., manuals, certificates), metadata about attachments (file name, size, type) — this data is collected solely to enable the attachments feature on your storefront and fulfil customer needs.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse and interact with the App.
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the site or within the App, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App.
Additionally, we use this personal information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Provide technical support;
- Optimise or improve the App’s file-attachment and display experience; and
- Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services (only if you have opted in).
We do not sell or share your data for unrelated marketing purposes.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We may share your Personal Information with trusted third parties to help us provide our services and operate the App, for example:
- Shopify – to ensure the App integrates properly with your store.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers – such as AWS or Vercel, to securely host the App and store data.
- Analytics and monitoring tools – such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel, to understand App performance and improve features.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Behavioural Advertising
As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.

Data Retention
When you place an order through your store using the App, or when you upload and attach files via the App, we will maintain order-related or attachment-related information (such as file metadata, upload records) for as long as necessary to fulfil that order or feature, and to support your store operations, unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
