Easify Inventory Sync Privacy Policy

Easify Inventory Sync (“the App”) provides tools to sync inventory across bundled products, duplicate SKUs, and raw-material-based items (“the Service”) to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

  • Shop information: store name, store URL, email address, plan type, and currency.
  • Product information: product titles, variants, images, SKUs, pricing details — used to create Inventory Groups, Bundle Groups and sync rules.
  • Order information: order IDs, line items, and quantity changes — used to track inventory changes and update groups.
  • Theme and storefront data: to embed scripts and manage inventory logic on storefront or via app UI.
  • App and ScriptTag permissions: for installation, uninstallation, and correct operation of the App.

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

  • Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, email address, and billing information (for account management and support).
  • Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about cookies installed on their device (for analytics and improving the service).
  • Information from inventory sync interactions, such as group definitions, variant links, and metadata about sync events. This data is collected solely to enable accurate inventory management and syncing between linked products.
  • “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse and interact with the App.
  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the site or within the App, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
